Every Indian wishes to witness rural economic growth, but not at the expense of the environment and a sustainable future. Our objective is to encourage growth of the rural economy through green methods, processes and innovations.
The Green Rural Economy platform enables changemakers (CSOs, community leaders, social entrepreneurs) to seek help and solution providers to offer actionable help to make the communities and places Economically, Ecologically and Socially sustainable.
Our goal is to leverage local assets and resources that are often overlooked in the development sector.
This platform surfaces the best knowledge and execution resources in a region and connects them with those in need of the best way to solve this problem.
GRE endeavours to target three broad segments of the rural economy to deliver on the objective of creating prosperity without compromising on the environment: Natural Resource Management, Agroecology and Entrepreneurship.
