Breaking Silos, Building Solutions – Welcome to GRE Clinics

GRE CLINICS

A collaborative space where organizations and individuals in the sector connect, share knowledge, and solve real-world challenges together.

What are GRE Clinics?

People working in various landscapes face challenges and solve them all the time. It would be great if each one of us did not have to reinvent the wheel. We could learn from those who have already solved problems and also engage with one another to share the solutions that we have found.

Further, it is important to have a place where one can bring their challenges and ask others for a solution. A community that is willing to support and enable development.

The GRE Clinic is envisaged as this platform to enable such conversations in an information setting that brings together like-minded individuals working at the grassroots. Find people like yourself who are looking to solve problems or already engaged in solving challenges.

Learn, Share and Grow

How It Works: Step by Step Flow

  • If an individual or organization is facing a bottleneck, challenge, or knowledge gap, they can submit a request for a GRE Clinic.
  • The request should detail:
    • The specific problem or challenge they need help with.
    • Any previous attempts to resolve the issue.
    • The desired outcome they are looking for.
  • Submission channels: Online form on the website, email, or through GRE partner networks.
  • The GRE team reviews the request and looks within its network to identify an individual or organization that has successfully navigated a similar challenge.
  • The provider may be:
    • A practitioner or organization with firsthand experience overcoming the issue.
    • A researcher or technical expert who has studied or implemented solutions.
    • A policy expert or government official who has facilitated large-scale solutions.
  • The matchmaking process ensures that the knowledge provider is well-equipped to share actionable insights.
  • Once the match is established, a GRE Clinic session is scheduled, bringing the knowledge seeker and provider together in a structured setting.
  • The session format may include:
    • One-on-one consultation – For highly specific challenges.
    • Group discussion – Where multiple stakeholders can contribute insights.
    • Live Q&A sessions – To allow deeper exploration of solutions.
  • The clinic is moderated by GRE facilitators, ensuring a focused discussion and documentation of insights.
  • Key takeaways, actionable steps, and recommendations from the session are documented.
  • The insights are:
    • Shared with the knowledge seeker as a reference.
    • Added to a growing knowledge repository to help others facing similar challenges.
  • The clinic enables sector-wide learning by creating a living knowledge base accessible to other organizations in the future.

Seeker Meets Solver: GRE Clinics Through Partner Eyes

The clinic conducted was very useful since it opened an opportunity for us to work with SWMRT. We were trying to create awareness around waste segregation in rural areas and did not want to reinvent the wheel but look for partners who are already experts in this space. When we posed the question to WellLabs, they arranged for the clinic which led to this partnership. SWMRT did a superb job of understanding the ground realities in rural Karnataka and combined it with their expertise in solid waste management. They were good at taking feedback from our team and customised it entirely. We are very happy with the outcome.

Lipok Social Foundation benefited greatly from WELL Labs' Green Rural Economy (GRE) platform, which connected us to vital partners like Tarun Bharat Sangh. Through GRE Clinics, we expanded our outreach and built collaborations to advance rural circular economy efforts in Haryana and Rajasthan. We highly recommend GRE Clinics for fostering impactful collaborations in sustainable rural development.
